We produce all our products in house in our Leeds based workshop. From our Cutters who prepare all our raw materials, our Machinists who make all our products by hand, to our Assembly Operatives who are responsible for quality control, packaging and shipping.

CUTTING ROOM OPERATIVE

Here at Restrap we have a new opportunity in our cutting department.

The cutting department uses a variety of machines including CNC fabric, webbing and laser cutters. We are looking for someone with the following skills.

• Accurately read and understand paperwork
• A good standard of literacy and numeracy
• Handle sheets of plastic and rolls of fabric
• Focus and have an eye for detail
• Able to follow detailed instructions and processes
• A team player but with the ability to work unsupervised

Full, in house training, will be given.

Core hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm

CUTTING ROOM ASSISTANT

We are now looking for a Cutting Room Assistant to join our busy team.

You will need to be able to:

  • Accurately read and understand manufacturing orders
  • Use a heated guillotine
  • Use an automated webbing cutter
  • Handle large sheets of plastic and rolls of fabric
  • Accurately count and assemble complete manufacturing orders for the sewing team
  • Focus and have an eye for detail
  • Able to follow detailed instructions and processes
  • Use a variety of digital programmes
  • Learn new skills
  • A team player but with the ability to work unsupervised
  • An ordered and logical thinker
  • You must have a good level of literacy and numeracy.


Core hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm

SEWING MACHINIST


As a Sewing Machinist at Restrap you will need to be

  • Competent in the use of a sewing machine, preferably in an industrial setting
  • Experienced in the use of a variety of sewing techniques
  • Able to listen and follow instructions accurately
  • An effective member of a team
  • Able to work accurately under pressure
  • Responsible for the quality of your work
  • A quick learner with an eye for detail
  • A good communicator
  • Open to learning new skills and to undergo training as required
  • Training will be given both on machines and products to ensure you are properly skilled


You must have a good level of literacy and numeracy.

Core hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm

PACKING ROOM ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE


You will need to be dexterous, diligent and with an eye for detail.

You will be working as part of a team, finishing, assembling, quality checking, tagging and bagging products made by our in house sewing team.

This is a fast paced environment with fast turnarounds and daily deadlines.

Some similar experience is preferable but a willingness to listen, learn and work hard is also important.

You must have a good level of literacy and numeracy.

Core hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm
